HEARTFIRE Joy Scholarship

HEARTFIRE recognizes the great benefit, not only upon the recipient of service, but also upon the one who serves.  HEARTFIRE also understands that some participants may be unable to raise sufficient financial support to fund their mission trip.  For this reason, we have created the HEARTFIRE Joy Scholarship Endowment. HEARTFIRE awards one of four levels of scholarships to participants who qualify:

1.     Selah Eni Scholarship:  $750 - $1250 award toward the cost of the trip (click to view additional requirements)

2.    Gold Scholarship:  $500 travel award toward the cost of the trip

3.    Silver Scholarship:  $250 travel award toward the cost of the trip

4. Boost Scholarship: $100 travel boost toward the cost of the trip

Scholarships are awarded at the sole discretion of HEARTFIRE and are based upon the financial need of the participant as well as specific HEARTFIRE trip personnel needs.  There are a limited number of Scholarships available each year, and may only be redeemed toward a HEARTFIRE mission trip. Awards are not reimbursable and carry no cash value.

To apply for consideration:

  1. Please complete the Joy Scholarship Application below.

  2. Submit a copy of your (or your parents’) most recent 1040 U.S. Tax form (or your national tax form if from another country) showing the Adjusted Gross Income (AGI). Please redact any SSN's and submit by email to: called2go@heartfiremissions.org.

The Fine Print:

  • Scholarship decisions cannot be rendered without the required documentation.

  • Scholarship awards will be deposited into a recipient’s mission fund after all other funding has been donated.

  • Scholarship funds expeire 12 months after scholarship is awarded.

  • Scholarships may only be awarded towards a HEARTFIRE mission trip.
